About
I was born and raised in Centralia, WA. With the exception of some college years I have spent my entire life living in western Washington. After graduating with a BA in History from Linfield College I began a 36-year career in education, with the last 35 years as a history teacher at North Mason High School in Belfair. Among other various duties there I was the head baseball coach for 26 years being inducted to the Washington State Baseball coaches Hall of Fame in 2018. My wife Vickie and I were married in 2015 and currently live in Tumwater. Between us we have 6 children and the 15th grandchild on the way. I started my encore career in real estate shortly after retiring from teaching in 2017. I have found that many of the same skills that made me a successful teacher and coach were skills necessary in being a quality real estate agent. In both occupations, one works with people who come from a variety of situations, and must be able to establish a good rapport each one. When you add being detail oriented, proper planning and preparation, I can achieve my goal of making your home buying or selling as painless and stress free as possible.
